Unfortunately Microsoft does not support rendering extensions to the rdlc control, only the server.  You can use SSRS Express.

Sorry about the confusion.  In the latest build we made the async processing off by default to minimize the change to other customers.  To turn this on please add the following to your web.config.

<add key="Forerunner.EnableAsyncRendering" value="true"/>

After reviewing the log files that were sent to us it appears to be a timeout issue. The mobilizer timeout is in the Web.config file.  The default is

<add key="Forerunner.ReportServerTimeout" value="100000" />

Or 100 sec.  Please increase this value.

Coding Questions / Re: Support - App/Server Split
« on: July 27, 2016, 01:19:04 pm »
It can be done in many ways.  You can either run Mobilizer as a standalone app as you are doing.  You can run it in an app of your own using the SDK.  Both of these options has the client as server code in the same domain.

If you want to have the client code in one app and the server code in another app you can do that to but you need to setup CORS.

This setup is more complicated and but several of our customers are doing it.  The complication is ASP.Net not mobilizer.  Mobilizer has just one setting you need to set.

Mobilizer will determine the API location from the load path of the js files.
For example <script type="text/javascript" src="http://hTTP://MyMobilizerServer/Mobilizer/Forerunner/Bundles/forerunner.min.js"></script>

If your client code is on a different domain then your need to enable CORS to make cross domain calls.

To do this for Mobilizer you need to set the following setting in your web.config that is hosting the server API.  If using mobilizer this is the mobilizer web.config
You need to tell Mobilizer it can trust a different domain.

        <clear />
        <add name="Access-Control-Allow-Origin" value="http://localhost:1337" />
        <add name="Access-Control-Allow-Credentials" value="true" />
        <add name="Access-Control-Allow-Methods" value="GET, POST" />
        <add name="Access-Control-Allow-Headers" value="Content-Type, *" />

If you want to pass credentials then you need to also set a header on the client before making ajax calls
For Mobilizer you simply need to set before creating any forerunner objects.

forerunner.config.enableCORSWithCredentials = true;

Support Questions / Re: Using the ReportViewer
« on: June 07, 2016, 10:05:35 am »
The Forerunner.ReportServerWSUrl must point at the SSRS webserver end point,  It is usually http://someserver/reportserver

Assuming your install of Mobilizer works, it is the value you put in the config tool when you setup mobilizer.

Since you are setting the credentials to SSRS in the controller it does not matter what authentication you use for your app.

Support Questions / Re: Using the ReportViewer
« on: June 07, 2016, 09:51:24 am »
The login prompt is from your application.  The Report Manger controller expects the requests to be authorized, so your application will need to authentic in some way.  This is different than the credentials needed to talk to SSRS.  If you want your application to unauthenticated, you can remove the  [Authorize] tag from the Report Manager and Report Viewer controllers.

It also looks like your <add key="Forerunner.ReportServerWSUrl" value="http://devappserver.staplescan.com/Mobilizer" />  setting is incorrect.  Usually this would end with /reportServer for the API endpoint.

Support Questions / Re: Help resetting license

We have the ability for you to get info on your key.  We cannot let you reset a key, as that would essentially invalidate our licensing model.

For example, using your key.
