Changing colors in IE 8
« on: October 14, 2015, 10:52:50 am »
We are trying to amend the colour scheme used and are using the mobilizer.css for this as instructed. However we are having a problem with some of the icons. It works in chrome but not IE8. Is there an easy way of changing the colours without finding out each element.

Below is the code I used for one of the icons and it works in chrome but not IE8.

Any help would be much appreciated.

.fr-button-back:hover
{
background:#333333;
filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient( startColorstr='#333333', endColorstr='#333333',GradientType=0 ); /* IE6-9 */
}
.fr-rm-button-logOff:hover
{
background:#333333;
filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient( startColorstr='#333333', endColorstr='#333333',GradientType=0 ); /* IE6-9 */
}

There are many elements, you can look at the CSS and change the most generic ones and use !important.

This works in IE8 and chrome.

.fr-toolbase-toolcontainer:hover
{
background:#333333 !important;
filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient( startColorstr='#333333', endColorstr='#333333',GradientType=0 ) !important; /* IE6-9 */
}
.fr-toolbase-toolcontainer:hover
{
background:#333333 !important;
filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient( startColorstr='#333333', endColorstr='#333333',GradientType=0 ) !important; /* IE6-9 */
}
